This forum supports BBcode. It is not identical to the Blockland Forums in it's execution, though.
The 'b' tag - Makes text bold. Example: [b]This text is bold.[/b] --> This text is bold The 'it' tag - Makes text italicized. Example: [it]This text is emphasized.[/it] --> This text is emphasized. The 'un' tag - Makes text underlined. Example: [un]This text should be read.[/un] --> This text should be read. The 'delete' tag - Adds a strike through text. Example: [delete]This text is no longer relevant.[/delete] --> This text is no longer relevant. The 'size' tag - Changes the font size of text. Example: [size=8pt]Tiny text![/size] --> Tiny text! The 'color' tag - Changes the font color of text. Example: [color=yellow]Yellow text.[/color] --> Yellow text. The 'center' tag - Aligns text into the center of your post. Example: [center]This text is centered.[/center] --> This text is centered.
The 'quote' tag - Makes an inline quote, which is good if you want to refer to something somebody said. Example: [quote Tophat]Yay, we have forum rules now.[/quote] --> Quote from: Tophat Yay, we have forum rules now. The 'url' tag - Make text into a hyperlink. Example: [url=http://bossbattles.pecon.us/]The Boss Battles Website![/url] --> The Boss Battles Website! The 'img' tag - Embed an image into your post. The 'video' tag - Embed a video from Youtube or Vimeo. Example: [video]https://vimeo.com/105325248[/video] --> You can also combine tags together to make things like images with links, or combine multiple text formatting tags. Example: [b][un][it]Fancy.[/it][/un][/b] --> Fancy. Hopefully this helps you understand how to format text on these forums! Enjoy. |
