I feel like a lot of people who play Boss Battles have lots of ideas, some good and some bad, but there is no place for their ideas to be seen by everyone and discussed. As such, I've decided to make this thread (pls sticky). Feel free to post any of your ideas for Boss Battles here. If people like your idea I'll put in the OP in one of these categories (Bosses, Maps, Classes, Minibosses, Misc.) Sadly I don't have any of the ideas from previous threads (the map one and the boss one [except for mine]). Make sure your ideas are legible and make sense! If you're suggesting a boss or class, make sure to include basic info like health amount, speed, weapons, etc. Your idea doesn't have to be something new either, it could also be ideas for revising certain classes, maps, etc.
DO NOT REQUEST FOR REMOVED CLASSES OR BOSSES TO COME BACK. THEY WERE REMOVED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS AND THEY ARE VERY LIKELY TO NEVER EVER RETURN. BOSS IDEAS:
DIO BRANDO (Idea from: Luneth) 1.2 Playerscale (optional) Fast speed Low hp, gains more hp and abilities as he kills players, can also suck the blood out of dead corpses to gain small amounts of hp (depends on how much hp dead player had) STAGE 1 (no players killed yet): simple melee attack (claws? i dunno, deals about 80-100 dmg), low health, can climb up walls and ceilings STAGE 2 (2-4 players killed): 500-1000 hp boost, melee attack gains 30-50 more damage, gains LASER BEAM EYES (similar to that old laser pointer wep) that can be fired continuously for 5-10 seconds, then needs to be recharged (not sure how long it should take to recharge) STAGE 3 (7-10 players killed): gains 500 hp, GAINS STAND POWERS (the world), gains knives that can be thrown (steal knife from medusa?), now has the ability to stop time in a small area around him for 5-10 seconds (stops in place to use this, like medusa's stun ability), all projectiles and players (besides dio) are frozen and cannot move until time starts again, melee attack is now fists that deal 20 damage, but can punch extremely fast and rapidly STAGE 4 (over 20 players killed): STAND ABILITIES STRENGTHENED! Time stop now lasts 15 seconds, fists now deal 50 damage per punch, knives can be thrown rapidly, glides around midair (similar to dark samus, but slower), any corpses that have had blood taken will come back to life as bot zombie minions (like lich's minions) MISC.: Dio talks (like sky captain does), preferably the original japanese dialogue, outfit will be based on part 3 dio, outfit changes depending on what stage dio is at (optional but would be helpful in distinguishing what stage he is at) Info about Dio if you've never watched JJBA Seasonal Themed Bosses (Idea from: Drydess) MAP IDEAS:
More frequent map changes (Idea from: Aware) Revise map accepting process (have maps reviewed by administration team, like admin apps; add better ways to play test maps; etc) Skyscraper (currently being worked on by Luneth) Holiday themed maps (Christmas, Halloween, Independence Day, Easter, etc) CLASS IDEAS:

More Undertale OST MISC. IDEAS:
Golden Wrench corpse name display (Idea from: Kyuande) Pets teleport to you if you get too far away (Idea from: Luneth) Gamemode variety; simple changes to give more variety like changing it so that the boss captures the point instead of the normals. Possibly seasonal-themed bosses/minibosses. Like, on Halloween day, there could be something Halloween-esque, like a Pumpking (not very creative right now) or something. Only on the day of the holiday, since it would kinda negate the fun of it if the boss was there for the whole month preceding the holiday.
Also, a class idea would be one very fast, and with melee weapons dealing ~80 damage per hit. Just a main idea of a class that I thought of right now. |

1. More frequent map changes. I think it would be nice to have more frequent map changes. Not hourly map changes but changes daily or every two days.
2. Gamemode variety. I think it would be cool if there was a variety in the gamemode. Not something extremely complicated but simple changes to give more variety like changing it so that the boss captures the point instead of the normals. This could be voted on and change with the map and would work well with the more frequent map changes. |

For music, I have many suggestions. With the recent addition of Dummy, I can't help but wonder why different Undertale tracks weren't added, as many others fit the profile of "Boss Battles" music far better.
Also, I think it would be cool if there was specific music that played for bosses. Such as if the track "William" would play when, er, William was chosen. Of course, the song could still be changed, but I still think it could be a neat idea. |

Your Best Nightmare doesn't really fit Boss Battles, it's for something really twisted and insane.

Yeah, that makes sense. I just thought it'd be a neat idea for some bosses in particular.
Also, with the Your Best Nightmare, I do get what you're saying, but I moreso posted that as an example of the more adrenaline filled boss music that it had. Megalovania, Battle Against A True Heroine, and a couple others would send more of a vibe of a boss battle. I just have some form of vendetta against Dummy, I guess. :P |

imo i think your best nightmare would fit very nicely along with some other songs from undertale. cant really remember the names besides the ones you guys already mentioned. |
