I'd like to apologize for the delay on this next update, I was really having a hard time coming up with ideas for the third skyscraper but I've finally completed the interior for the third skyscraper (mostly), which means that all three buildings now have a fully accessible interior! The map is pretty much 90% done now, not including any modifications that will have to be made (which is likely). New stuff: brand new interior for third building, more destroyed exterior for third building, modified jump pads (i was using addvelocity before instead of setvelocity which fucked some things up), more chests, tweaked pillars in second floor of second building (not noticeable enough for another picture, but it was bothering me anyways), some signs removed (will be replaced soon), new contract (secret), and all teleporters have been completed. I'll update the op with some new pictures soon.

edit: op updated with some snazzy pictures, also i'd love to have some suggestions for what i could put on the second building's roof. I was thinking about adding a giant radio antenna and being able to climb up it with some ladders, but I think I could do something better than that.

ninja-edit: also i'll probably get around to updating the bl forums thread later, i don't feel like it right now

For your zonebrick problem, you'll have to convince Pecon to add them to the server. I've managed to do that with Emil's Print Plates.

According to Trinko, zone bricks conflict with dark samus apparently, so that is unlikely. However, he suggested lining the ground with water bricks that essentially do the same thing as I planned but with water events

bump, i dont feel like taking screenies for this update right now since it's still not completely finished, but this thread has gone too long without a bump. i added a small garden type thing on the roof of the second building since it was pretty much barren. it contains a memorial tree in the center. right now i'm working on a secret floor in one of the buildings. i dont want to reveal too much about its exact location at the moment so it'll be more interesting to discover it when it's actually on the server. it does contain chests and is accessible by bosses and normal players. the entrance will only be openable under a few set conditions that i will not say here (but will inform certain persons of interest privately when it's completely finished). this area will only be accessible (when opened) for two minutes of the round before it is sealed off and flooded with toxins, killing all players (bosses will be teleported outside automatically at the cost of some damage).

This map is pretty damn sexy. I like how the multiple floors have different aspects of fighting such as the water areas, and the roofs. Also the multiple towers would give the map a unique playstyle too.

I can now say with certainty that this map is finally finished. I've already given the map to Pecon, and it should be finalized and ready to play soon. I don't know exactly when it'll be on the server, but hopefully if there aren't any big problems it should be soon. I look forward to seeing it on the server as well as lots of people having fun on it. Also, when the time does come around and the map is available, I'm putting out a challenge. The first person (who is not an admin) to find all 28 chests hidden in the map (not including the Golden Chest, of course) and provide photo evidence will get 3 million points from me. Good luck, and thanks for supporting this map, even if it did take significantly longer than what I intended.

it would appear that there are some issues with the map loading properly on the server. for some reason, about 60k out of over 170k bricks load, even though the bricks used were from the dev kit and default bricks. so until this issue has been resolved, the map is basically rendered unplayable on the server. pretty disappointing, but what can you do when blockland decides to not function properly?

Yeah, I had the brickcount set to around 65k to help save memory and forgot the limit was in place.

We'll probably end up eventually trimming down the size of the buildings and doing something else clever to simulate height so that the brickcount doesn't have to be so high.
