Completely intended. People were complaining about Medusa being too underpowered, so it was rectified.

Medusa now has a new power. The health draining magic trap Bloodfort Andromeda.







It can be placed on any surface. Shortly after doing so, it becomes invisible. While hidden, it begins to grow in size, reaching its maximum area after about five minutes. When it's triggered, you'll only have a second to get out of its area before being hit with 150 damage. Damaging a player like this will heal Medusa for 10% of her total health.

Keep your team informed if you see her place it, because there's no indication of where it is until the trap is sprung.

Vortexian
- 150 HP
- Slow walking speed and stunted jump ('heavy')
- Weak but long lasting hover jets with a very slow recharge
- Jets cut out when more than 20 units above the ground
- Weapon uses small amounts of fuel which slightly overcomes the recharge rate

The weapon is automatic and can fire infinitely, and is geared for mid-range combat. Spawns very weak homing bombs as well as bullets. The strategy with this class is to attack at middle range to slowly wear down the boss, and to make quick retreats with the hover jets when the boss gets close. This is balanced by the very slow recharge rate, which means that if the boss chases after you, you can only run for so long before you're completely grounded and out of fuel.
